Fact Filled Friday

Facts, can we get enough? Never, be it on our favorite stars, the weather, history. We rely on facts to make a better judgment about all matters. So without further ado more facts on your truly.

- My first concert was The Beach Boys
- I was Historian at my sorority, Alpha Phi. There I discovered my love of scrapbooking.
- My sister, MB and I are complete opposites. She is a tomboy who prefers volcom and video games.
- I was never vocally inclined, or athletically inclined either for that matter.
- I began acting in plays at the age of 5 and have loved it with passion ever since.
- I can't sleep with socks on.
- I drive an SUV and love feeling safe and big for the only time in my life.
- I have reading glasses, but don't wear them nearly enough.
- I am deathly afraid of "Unsolved Mysteries". That show terrified me as a child and even the host's voice ensues anxiety.
- I swear by olive oil for reducing and preventing wrinkles. It's a miracle in the kitchen aisle.
- I love old movies like The Sound of Music and Oklahoma.
- Subsequently I also adore musicals. My favorite is Les Miserable.
- I cant' tolerate spicy foods. To my taste buds this includes Chipotle.
- I have a very hard time throwing out ticket stubs from past events, as they may one day be valued.
- I also still have my beanie baby collection, in all it's glory, bundled up in different garbage bags.

Shelb's and me last Friday.

  2. Fun facts...okay, if you love The Sound of Music you'll have to check this video out on youtube, if you haven't seen it already...it's the best!

I received an email...here's the supposed scoop on the whole thing:

This video was made in the Antwerp, Belgium Central (Train) Station on March 23, 2009, with no warning to the passengers passing through the station. At 8:00 am a recording of Julie Andrews singing 'Do, Re, Mi' began to play on the public address system. As the bemused passengers watched, some 200 dancers began to appear from the crowd and station entrances. They created this amazing stunt with just two rehearsals!
