I love Little Women. I love the book, I love the movie adaption. I love Jo and Lawrie. I love Marmie. On that note...
I have never been able to get the following dialogue from the movie out of my head:
Jo March: I find it poor logic to say that because women are good, women should vote. Men do not vote because they are good; they vote because they are male, and women should vote, not because we are angels and men are animals, but because we are human beings and citizens of this country.
Mr. Mayer: You should have been a lawyer, Miss March.
Jo March: I should have been a great many things, Mr. Mayer.
How true is that about each of us? Not in the sense where if we weren't women we'd be able to do other things, but in we have so many talents. Do you ever feel your passions and talents lie in so many places that you could have done many different jobs?
If so, please share! I would love to hear your different passions and how they took you different places.
