Wrapped Up In You

It's funny, I got so wrapped up in all of your postings on your blogs, I just realized I did not post yesterday! I feel terrible. I absolutely love reading your blogs and must have been so consumed, I simply forgot to tend to my own.

Today my Mother and I went to this lovely little restaurant a town over. They serve tea and finger sandwiches, or you can order off their menu something else. They must have nearly 100 teas to choose from. My favorite is English breakfast. They serve all their teas in different antique tea pots and beautiful tea cups. Their restaurant is themed "Little Women" and makes me feel so happy and carefree.

We then drove around and looked at real estate and a beautiful consignment shop that is just staged so wonderfully. It really got my creative juices flowing.

Last night I was in a rut, just thinking about how I quit my job and have no income coming in. I felt so lost and Bob could tell and he offered me such wonderful advice. We're such a great match and he can balance me so perfectly. He comes home tomorrow night, and not a moment too soon. I believe I'm so blessed because he not only loves me but reminds me to love myself and to go after what I deserve.

He will be done with school in 85 days, but really who's counting?

I thought I'd humor you with a picture of Bob and me, from around the time we met 6 years ago. Just two kids falling for each other. It's probably one of my favorite pictures ever.

Not too sound too Taylor Swift-esque about when we met but I was 18 and fresh out of high school. He had braces. We were on a church trip in Kentucky, and I was smitten.

"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." - 1 John 4:18

  1. I *promise* I haven't forgotten about sending you an e-mail! As soon as I get a mo, I will!!!

I love your 'high tea' you shared with your mom! With South Africa originally being a British colony, tea takes its spot of great importance in the country. So I LOVE LOVE tea as well!

    It's almost the weekend!!! :)
