Have You Met Charlie?

Charming Charlie that is.

Charming Charlie just opened up right by me and after lunch at Panera I decided to mosey on over. I was astounded at the size of this boutique, it’s grand in size and scale. See for yourself (don’t mind my blackberry photos)

Well hello accessory heaven, pleased to meet you!

I would say CC is 70 percent jewelry and accessories and 30 percent clothing. It is very similar to Francesca’s in looks but more reasonable in price. Every thing is color coordinated in the store which makes for extremely easy browsing. It helps make the spacious store less overwhelming.

The average price break downs were as followed:

  • Shoes- approx. $20
  • Dresses/Shirts- $25-30
  • Jewelry- Necklace/Earring combinations for $5-15.

I couldn’t help but try on some of their dresses, though I held off on purchasing.

Photo Shoot? Don’t mind if I do.

Again, sorry for the picture quality and lack of makeup on your truly. I have a bridal shower to attend this weekend for Bob’s cousin so I may go back to pick up one of these frocks, I’m thinking the teal dress and maybe a pashmina wrap.  We’ll see!

Have you gone to Charming Charlie? Maybe this bodacious boutique isn’t new to you, but either way I’d recommend checking it out, it’s fun.

  1. I adore the pink one on you! But I'm a sucker for the ruffles on the teal as well :)

  2. Hi Katie,

You look adorable in all those dresses. I prefer the teal dress too..love that colour! We don't really have a store like that here in the UK.

Closest thing is probably Accessorize. They have jewellry, hats, scarves, tights, swimming customes and cover ups etc..but no clothes : (

  3. oh i love that pink dress! and their prices sound amazing.... wich i was in chicago right now so i could mosey on over, too. also, wanted to get back to you on what kind of books i like. my fave all time is the lovely bones which i read many years ago, loaned it out and never got it back so couldn't reread before i saw the movie.... bummer! jodi picoult is a favorite author, the memory keeper's daughter, what the dead know was a recent fave... and don't judge me but by the urging of a friend i am currently reading twilight and actually (gasp!) enjoying it!

  6. Thanks so much ladies for your comments and I'm so sorry I am just now writing here.

Pamela- How did I know you'd love pink and green together? You my dear are the essence of J Crew, ha.

Gemma- Thanks for the compliment, I was a little leery of putting up makeup less photos like these, ha. I would love love love to shop in the UK and see all there is to offer there.

Cassie- I love the lovely bones book too! It was so out of my normal reading element but it was wonderful. I don't know about you but I never saw the movie, it looked a little weird.I've never read Jodi Picoult, though I've always wanted to!

Struggler- I agree, it's so hard to find clothing stores that have reasonable prices and don't look cheap. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Rebecca- Really 30 minutes? Is it a good mall at least? Thanks for coming by and commenting. :)
