Scrub a dub dub

I have continued to rigorously study to become a realtor. After an intense day there is absolutely nothing better than some “me time” and a nice long soak in the tub.

I prefer bathtubs over showers and will use the term interchangeable to truly mean: I’m taking a bath.

Whenever I am in the bath, or feel the need to pamper I absolutely love using

image1. Bliss, Super Minty Soap ‘n Scrub Energizing Exfoliator For The Body-  This lil’ miracle worker leaves skin soft as butter and tingles as it works for an extra clean and pampered feeling.  I adore a good beauty find, and this one is truly up there.

2. Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque- I found this product at Walgreens. Yes, Walgreens. I was told that it was one of the top selling masks available, for a mere $3.99. I’ve used masks from Aveda, Bliss, etc. and this mask takes the cake. It leaves skin feeling so refined and smooth.

image3.  Villa Floriani Olive Oil Satin Body Spray- This spray follows a trend used throughout the ages. Using olive oil as a wrinkle preventative and moisturizer. I had a good friend in high school who'se mother has gorgeous skin. She would apply olive oil directly to her skin, her secret from her own mother. This spray is sold exclusively at Mario Tricoci salons throughout the Chicago land area. It is to die for and is great in lieu of moisturizer right out of the shower, or sprayed on a towel and applied to your face to prevent premature aging.

P.S. I once had a facial at the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa where the esthetician told me to always rub any product on the face in an upwards motion, the opposite of gravity. She told me to look at her neck and guess her age. Her neck looked as if she were 30 and she was 65. She said every product applied to her face, makeup or moisturizer was always rubbed in upward, she’d given Madonna facial before. Better believe girlfriend since rubs every product in upwards!

Soon I’ll share my favorite creams for the face. What do you love to use to pamper your skin?
