Sorority

I’ve been thinking a lot about my sorority days. The glory days, thus far. The time I really came into my own. I was a freshman when I first joined Alpha Phi. I knew I just had to be an alpha phi after meeting Christie. I spent the next 4.5 years proudly representing my house. I miss those easy days, those wonderful girls, those proud memories. I’m so thankful for where I am, but how could I not miss alpha phi?

Christie was just like me. She loved to create her own theme parties and go to the bars in her decided wear. She was hysterical and became my alpha phi mom.

Here’s us at her wedding, three years later:

imageThe bonds a girl creates in a sorority are so unique and special. You develop relationships based on traditions and likeness. You learn what it is to represent a sorority and that includes philanthropy as well as homecoming parties.

Halloweens celebrated together

There were fraternity formals and themed functions all with my sisters

And as the years progressed…

Bottom line.. No matter where life takes us, no matter if we talk. We will remain forever, sisters.

  3. They really were, I'm sure you ladies know what I mean. College holds a special place because of how much growing occurs after high school.

  4. Thanks so much for your sweet comment -- it was from a wedding and I have to say it is one of my favorite ways to have worn my hair. A stylist did it when I was in the wedding party!!!

  5. I was never in a sorority, but I must say that college was some of the best times in my life. Among other things, I met my best friend there...and we remain friends today!

  6. I loved and miss my sorority days. It's so great to spend time with my sisters and remember the good old days! I must say I like "grown up" life much better though. :)
