You Pair It, I’ll Wear It!

This post shows a lot of trust on my end, if I do say so myself. But then again you’re all savvy fashionistas, and I am so curious to hear your opinions!

Saturday marks Bob’s cousin’s wedding and I am wearing a little black dress with an intricate bow embellishment.

Here it is, I need to know how you would spice it up with accessories. I want to add a punch of color to make it stand out, and I was thinking of maybe using thick ribbon in a bright color as a head band. I did think a dark red would look good, though it’s the bridesmaids color so I don’t know if that would be poor taste to match?

What to Wear?

So would you use these items? Have a better suggestion you’d like to leave me the link to? I’d love to hear your 2 cents. In the mean time I’m drooling over the best dressed from the Emmy’s.

  1. I think a jade green would be great. Like Angelina's circa Oscar's 09? Or I think a pearl necklace would look pretty fly. I usually go for the punch of color as well, but in this case, pearls seem to pair the best!!

The coral jewelry looks spiffy with it, making it more summery. Either way, you can never go wrong with LBD's.

  2. You can't go wrong with a black dress for sure! I am always a fan of the bling - some vintage style earrings or a necklace & bracelet. My Mom has some good ones...if you lived closer, I'd see if you could borrow them. :)

I do like the black drop earrings on the top left of that pic!

  3. Beautiful items, I want to have those items so cool.
