Auld Lang Syne

Blog friends, we have a new years to be thankful for! I hope your New Years Eve was excellent and full of people that matter the most to you.

Handsome and I went to a well known Chicago eatery, Feast. And feast we did on their priced menu: $45 for a 4 course meal.. don’t mind if we do!

Last year we started a tradition where we go out for an intimate dinner, just the two of us, before meeting up with everyone else. It’s a great way to reflect on our previous year and add a little romance to the fun.

After a wonderful dinner we headed on over to our friend’s place in the city.

We took a shot of all of the gentleman (most of them eligible, ladies)011

Lest we forget the ladies who were out. The ratio is always laughable.  (Aaand I bought a weave. Here I am with my new locs. I must confess, I should have made this investment ages ago)013

Once out we met up with my wonderful co workers. I love these ladies!

Handsome and I out. He didn’t need the top of his head.

And my partner and I after midnight. I’m not sure if I’ve told you this before but we went to Junior High, High School, and College together. Then at work we were paired up as partners, such a small world!

2011 is here, and it’s going to be a great year for all of us, I can feel it!

  2. Looks like a great time! We love Feast...the one on Damen is right by where I live. I'm so curious about the whole weave thing. How does it work? Is it pricey? Is it hard to take on and off? Do you wear it for more volume or length? Sorry for all the questions!!

  3. Ohh looks like a blast :) And Chicago!! Yay!! We have to be friends!! xox

  4. that is such a great tradition to start! and btw---your dresses are always to die for!
